Character

Believe it or not there are some framework functions which will only accept a character datatype. Here’s a few samples of usage.

dim pad as char

pad="0"c ' use a lower case c at the end of the string to force a character declaration

sz=sz.padleft(2,pad) - this will add 2 characters on the left
