MxLoader

MxLoader is a program developed by IBM and Bruno Portaluri that is used to import or export data to/from maximo into a spreadsheet.

In fact it is delivered as a spreadsheet with an add-in tab.

Usage - you are provided with a 3 column spreadsheet. Each row represents a object (ex a workorder), each column represents a column. You can add additional columns as needed.

Adding subobjects may be possible.

Populating the failure heirarchy may be possible but tedios.

No, but for adding work orders if an error is found it will not create a work order.
For edit - you get a mif style error, you fix and then continue.

Yes, there is a parameter for location and another for verbosity.

It appears that this would allow the person to continue using computer even after the import starts.

Usage
Customer copys source file to local pc. Populates, executes MxLoader, saves it, merges to SS.
